創作主題 – 戲法 Hocus Pocus

【Hocus Pocus】 一詞源於羅馬的古老語言，現經常使用在當魔術師變出某種把戲、
發生令人驚奇的改變時所說的術語。

作品的造型上，兩端各有一個圓球，兩個圓球一大一小，為向外綻放的有機形。
造型像個種子，又像星星或是花的樣子，像是正在成長的生物體，象徵著東華大學
的各個學術領域在追求高深學問過程中的變幻莫測與有趣性，以及未來多采多姿的
可能性與發展性。

Hocus-Pocus is original from Old-Rome language, it is now using on the magic
show, as a magical jargon when the magician makes something which is surprising
people.

The image of this work has two balls in each sides, one small and another is large,
as an organic to blooming. The image like a seed; stars or flower, it just like a
growing organism, it symbolizes that the changeability and amusing to study in
Dong-Hwa University, and the development and possibility in the future.
